Ms. Larsen is the most amazing 2nd Grade teacher you’ll ever meet! She makes learning so fun for her class. Everyday, she greets each student at her classroom door with a smile and makes them feel so welcome and loved.
Ms. Larsen has the funnest projects that keep her class learning. Around Halloween, she teaches her class all about spiders and bats. My current second grader loved trying to scare me by sharing all the science facts about spiders he was learning at school. There are so many more examples of the fun projects she does with the kids, it would take all day to list!
She has a way of making everything fun, even math! She teaches fun rhymes and songs to help the students remember how to look at a math problem and figure out how to solve it.
All three of my children have had Ms. Larsen for 2nd Grade and they all love her. They have learned so much more than language arts, math and science. They’ve learned how to be a part of a community and to celebrate the wins of their classmates. They’ve learned how to get along with each other and work as a team. They’ve learned about the steps to solve problems and to keep trying.
Ms. Larsen has such a positive attitude about learning and life that has rubbed off on my children. They are all excited and happy to go to school everyday. My current 2nd grader is excited to see what fun projects Ms. Larsen has in store for them that day. Thanks, Ms. Larsen for all you do!
