Mr. Ochoa is a top-notch teacher and we're so grateful both our sons have had him for AP US History & Government. He gives excellent effort to teaching with compelling lessons and lively discussions daily in the classroom. Not only are his students fully prepared for AP test success, but more importantly, with lessons they'll recall through their college careers and throughout their adult lives, lessons that will make them more informed and aware citizens. In addition to his classroom excellence, he goes above and beyond to willingly help students with scholarship applications and after school learning opportunities and events. His lessons are often a topic of discussion at our dinner table, a sure sign of a passionate and greatly respected teacher who is making a meaningful impact. We feel so fortunate to have had the pleasure of having Mr. Ochoa before he retires at the end of an epic career at Alta High School. We know it's been epic because we know several of his past students who still think of him as stellar. Thank you, Mr. Ochoa!
