Mr. Cox is the perfect band teacher for my son! I never would have imagined that he would have had an affinity for a musical instrument, especially after he didn't enjoy piano lessons, but Mr. Cox has taught him to really enjoy playing the clarinet, and he even tried the trumpet this year too -- partly to try it out, and partly so he could be in Mr. Cox's class twice per day. I have no idea how he teaches so many students all the different instruments in the band and orchestra classes, but he is a musical wizard. Mr. Cox teaches the students fun music that they recognize and enjoy playing. My son will even bring his clarinet home and pick out his own renditions of songs he knows. It's so great to watch. I look forward to him having a talent that will take him to different places than I imagined for him. All thanks to Mr. Cox inspiring the interest in him.
