During the 2021-2022 school year we were lucky enough to have Mrs. Wilson at Edgemont Elementary as Teacher of the Year! She continues to hold that high standard at Glacier Hills Elementary. Not only does Mrs. Wilson support our 2nd grade students, families and teachers; she also is active with our Yeti PTA as a Teacher Liaison. Her charismatic personality and 10,000 mega-watt smile engage everyone at Glacier Hills. Her interdependent priorities are student safety and zeal for learning. Students respect her and understand that when Mrs. Wilson gives direction, it is for their best interest and should not have to be repeated. She loves idioms and helps students understand how their choices impact their consequence, negative or positive. She creates a safe environment for learning and asking questions. I am so grateful Mrs. Wilson teaches at Glacier Hills and my son has had the opportunity to learn from her.
