My daughter loves Miss Penland so much! When she was in third grade, she and her friends wrote her this song for her at the end of the year:
We really love miss Penland
She always gives us fruties
And make us sound like cuties
She makes us perfect angels
And teaches us the angles
We all have sparkly halos
She teaches us times tables
We always say thank you
We really really love you
you taught us all the fractions
it took a lot of actions
remember Halloween
Non of us acting mean
We all wore funny costumes…
And that is all we have
