Mrs Ohran is the 9th grade AP human geography teacher. She goes out of her way every day to make the kids feel like they belong, not only in her class but as a vital member of the high school community. My daughter spent 8th grade doing distance learning and was beyond anxious to start high school, especially when she didn't even complete one full year of in person Jr High. From the day my daughter met Mrs Ohran at back to school night she was so overwhelmingly welcoming that my daughter instantly felt like teachers were people that she could actually talk to and were there to support her in her learning. I've never seen her without a smile and she knows her students by name and knows what they're struggling with and what their strengths are. I can't say enough good things about her. We're so lucky to have her.
