We love Ms. Thompson because of how fun she is with her students in class. Her sense of humor and unique style of teaching make all of her students happy and wanting to be around her. She has fun seating arrangements, she plans fun games for Friday if you get all of your work done, and does fun science lessons. One of her best qualities is being a good listener. She cares about what her students are saying, she paraphrases to check for understanding and makes them feel special for their opinions, observations and most of all for their learning. She shows tremendous patience during an age (4th grade) when students are starting to form their own opinions and are learning to express them through words. It's amazing to watch her help students as they attempt this. We are so lucky to have Ms. Thompson as a teacher here at Driggs.
