Mr. Farnsworth is the leader teachers hope they will have. He works tirelessly to do what is best for students; always considering each student, situation, and circumstance individually. There is no "one-size-fits-all" mentality, every student deserves to be an individual, and he treats them as such. He's an innovator. When students had a need for personalized learning, he found a way to innovate student groupings for the benefit of the entire student body. Lakeside is doing incredibly interesting, beneficial, and trendsetting things in Davis, thanks to his leadership. He's a mentor. If an idea is brought to the table, he invests in it; allowing for individuals to grow and thrive within these passion projects. Students then reap the benefits of a happy, joyful staff that feels heard, appreciated, and seen by their administration. That kind of mentor-mentality breeds confidence and positive culture. Mr. Farnsworth has committed to making Lakeside the best it can possibly be. The students, faculty, staff, and community all continue to benefit from his investment.
