Mrs. Devenport is an incredible teacher! She clearly loves her students and is aware of their individual needs and strengths. She is very organized and has great routines in place so that her students know what to expect each day. Her classroom is warm and welcoming. Most of all she is kind! Even though there are a lot of big personalities in her class, she never raises her voice. She manages her class with thoughtful systems and positive reinforcement. Her students love and respect her. She helps each student achieve as much as possible, and also tries to ensure each child is happy. She challenges the kids and then celebrates their accomplishments. My son actually prefers school days to weekends! I am so grateful that he gets to spend so much time with someone as wonderful as Mrs. Devenport.
