Suzanne Mart is an exceptional teacher that inspired young learners to like school, education and themselves. Her radiant positivity extended to every child, empowering them to know they are important, capable and special. Her unique hands-on style of teaching made children feel capable of accomplishing any task like reading and basic math while also teaching valuable life lessons like sharing, being kind, respect and inclusion. I love her characteristic giggle as she retells precious stories of her students and their approach to life. Suzanne just "treasured First Graders because they are so honest. I learned so much from them." Mart was in high demand at Willow Canyons Elementary school because of her reputation for starting children on a strong path, academically and emotionally. She won Teacher of the Year because of her work ethnic, excellent teaching ability and being a great asset to the school, facility, parents, students and community.
