Mrs. Liechty (lick-tea) is a 2nd grade Teacher at Hooper Elementary in Weber School District, Region 2. Mrs. Liechty is one of my kids all time favorite teacher. Every time they see her at the school (no matter if in the hall or at the pick up line) they always yell out to say 'Hi, Mrs. Liechty!'. She always responds back with an enthusiastic wave or hug. Mrs. Liechty is always so happy to see all her students! Mrs. Liechty is an amazing teacher. In the past couple years she and her family have gone through so much, but she has always been there for her students and school. Her mom was recently diagnosed with incurable brain cancer. She has a Sped child with learning differences, who is awesome. She fell off a horse and broke some ribs last year also. During this time, she also got her Master's Degree. Mrs. Liechty and her family traveled to Hawaii (her favorite place) and her classroom is usually decorated in a tropical theme. The kids love Mrs. Liechty and so do the parents. Hooper Elementary is lucky to have such a wonderful teacher!
