Mrs. Jensen is one in a million. She is always happy to see her students everyday. She truly cares for each and every one of her students. My daughter was struggling with reading in 1st grade and she would encourage her daily. And then the pandemic hit. Mrs. Jensen told my daughter that when she could read a chapter book, she would listen to her read it. Well the day came when my daughter was in 2nd grade (at a different school too), and Mrs. Jensen came to our home and sat outside on the grass and listened to her read not just one chapter, but several!! It made my daughter’s day and instilled in her a love for reading. My daughter to this day (now in 4th) goes out of her way every morning to say hi to Mrs. Jensen. She truly is an amazing teacher and absolutely deserves a star in the Walk of Fame!
