Mrs. Collings started teaching 3rd grade last year. She was not only a first year teacher, she volunteered to teach online! She wanted to make sure the kids had fun and engaging lessons even though she was online, she had crawfish for a science lesson. She did all she could to make it feel as though the kids were in desks in her classroom.
We are so fortunate that she is in-person this year and doing a fantastic job. Mrs. Collings is funny, smart and talented. We are lucky we have her at Columbia.
