Where possible, it would be great if you can have a student PTSA group meet monthly at your school. Ideally, you should have two adults present if this is done after school. A suggestion would be to have your PTSA Board Teacher Rep & an adult Student Leadership Commissioner.

Look for possible summer leadership camps for students, or create your own retreat
One great opportunity for up to 10 PTSA students is a camp sponsored by Stand4Kind on July 31 - Aug 3
AUGUST
August - Back to School (any activities that your PTSA usually helps with - Senior Sunrise, BTS Night, etc.)
August 15 - Due date for APPLICATIONS for the 2023-2024 Utah PTA Student Committee. We would love to have a student representing every local student PTSA group.
SEPTEMBER
September topic - Involvement/Connection
September - Club Rush (promote PTSA, but also promote other clubs in your school - every child, one voice)
September - Battle of the Bands student meeting - get the info out now, encourage students to go to the music track of the Student Leadership Conference
September - Promote school Reflections contest
OCTOBER
October topic - Leadership
October - Teen Safe Driving Month/Week
October - Red Ribbon Week
NOVEMBER
November topic - Gratitude
November - Veteran's Day Concert (enter the Veteran's Day essay contest during October)
DECEMBER
December topic - Service
December - Support your school's service project/fundraiser. If they don't have one, plan your own
December 9 - State Student Leadership Committee meeting, 10 AM, Utah PTA Office or Zoom
