I've learned so much from my sister's tenderheartedness when she cares for her chickens. I catch her reading them stories and taking them on walks and can't help but smile.
I often hear the analogy of one "gathering in" people as a "hen gathers her chickens". It brings me hope to know that there are people like my sister who want to care for and serve those who are in need. Through this photograph, I feel that I have captured a sense of grace- one of compassion that can inspire others to be kind, selfless, understanding, forgiving, and understanding.
