Amalie Emmy Noether was an amazing mathematician and scientist around the early 1900s. Being a woman in science and math, Noether was not appreciated in her own time, but now, her contributions to STEM are clearly significant, including the theorem she’s holding, which she discovered. As a woman who hopes to pursue a future in mathematics, I understand the importance of having someone like Noether to look up to. This gives me hope because the more people of all kinds we have in the STEM field, the more discoveries we can make to create a more inclusive and intelligent world.
