I am hopeful because I hope someone will find a cure for type 1 diabetes one day. Even with the technology of insulin, CGMs, and insulin pumps, diabetes can still be challenging for me. As you can see in the photo, the left side is more of a primitive type of treatment, and the opposing side is more modern and less painful.
