I have hope because, despite distress and despair, light still shines in the world. In creating this artwork, I portrayed hope taking physical form, with light as its symbol. My digital piece depicts a girl shrouded in mist, reaching for a beam of light that touches her hand and travels into her heart. This image expresses my conviction in hope's enduring presence, even in our darkest moments. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's words, "In the midst of darkness, light persists," I entitled it "Light Persists." Somewhere there is light, but you must reach for it. I have hope because light persists.
