The goal of the Utah PTA Outstanding Secondary Educator Award is to recognize an outstanding professional educator currently working with students in 7th to 12th grade.
Award Due Dates
Council: Councils set due date (prior to Region due date, end of January / beginning of February)
Region: Regions set due date (around beginning / 2nd week of February)
Utah PTA: March 1st (Awards will not be accepted late to Utah PTA)
Requirements:
- PTA must be in good standing
- Nominee must be a PTA member
- Impact statement up to 1000 words (about the length of two typed single spaced pages)
- Supplementary material (3 separate items):
- Photo of nominee
- Letter of support from a constituent
- 1 page supplemental materials
- These materials may include photographs, articles, letters, program materials or other items
