Every year Utah PTA, in partnership with Utah National Guard, holds a Veteran's Day Concert. There is also an essay contest for Military Families held in conjunction with the Concert. The three winning students from Elementary School, Middle School/Junior High, and High School receive a cash prize and are honored at the Utah National Guard Veteran's Day Concert in November.
