The 2025 festival theme is “Bringing Stories to Life,” celebrating the power of movies to tell incredible stories that children and families will remember for years to come. The films in the 2025 festival are all adapted from beloved picture, chapter, and comic books from around the world, many of which you can check out at your local library. The theme of storytelling will also come to life in our kid-centric film workshops and panels — through play and active discovery, participants gain a greater understanding of film techniques and technologies while building confidence and curiosity.
