About Battle of the Bands
The Utah PTA Student Leadership Commission sponsors Battle of the Bands, a yearly event where bands from high schools across the state come together to compete for prizes. We also have some great sponsors who have provided performance opportunities to give our students more exposure to get their music out into the public eye.
As an official Utah PTA program, all entries must come from schools with PTSAs in good standing. If you want to participate, but your school does not have a PTSA, we can help you work with your school administration, and interested parents, to see if it would be a possibility.
Questions
If you have questions, please first contact your school's PTSA President or Battle of the Bands Chair. If they are unable to answer your questions, especially as it relates to dates for multi-region events, please contact your region director. Contact the Utah PTA Student Leadership Commissioner for further questions regarding the state competition.

Battle of the Bands entries will open for the 2024-2025 season in November 2024. Please read the rules for Battle of the Bands before submitting an entry. All participants must review and accept the program rules and sign the media release before participating.
