Miss Kitchen taught my 6th grade class in 2007. She had a loud voice and she was a passionate teacher. She liked history and I remember her telling us she went to Egypt. She told us a story about a dancer that was bound in chains so she would be at the same level as the other dancers and one day that dancer broke through her chains and danced better and jumped higher than anyone. Once a week we had a chance to catch laffy taffys on a board. We could keep one or take the chance to catch 2 or lose everything. On the last day of school she broke her ankle and was on bed rest. She liked Jeopardy and implementing the game in the class. -A. J.
