Ms Norman has such a great motto in her class with focusing on mental health and recognizing that negative voice (she calls it Trunchbul) and to not listen to it.
My son started the year off with anxiety which was something new this year. We talked at back to school night and she ensured us that mental health and stability were something she strongly teaches and recognizes.
By the first parent teacher conferences, my son was showing signs of ADHD and she helped walk me through what to do to ensure he gets the help that he needs. We were able to get a diagnosis, medication and are on a better track. My son looks up to Ms Norman and has such trust in her for her helping him through this time. He says his year would not have been good if it weren’t for Ms N as he calls her.
She is observant and gives each child the love and attention they need and deserve. She is such a power house of strength.
