My autistic son is privileged to be in Mrs. Bittner’s kindergarten class this year. To say she is incredible is an understatement. She shows so much patience to each and every student, but is particularly patient and loving to Renner when he has sensory issues and unpredictable meltdowns. Mrs. Bittner is so quick to find a way to diffuse the situation and then use it as a teaching time to help Renner build critical coping skills. Additionally, the creativity and joy Mrs. Bittner brings to her classroom via music and art is truly a blessing to all her students. She herself is so talented artistically and musically and finds so many ways to share those talents with her students in her lessons. She is an absolute super star that blesses the lives of those she teaches.
