This teacher has always gone above and beyond for all of her students. She truly cares about every kid that walks through her door and into her classroom. My now 15 year was lucky enough to have her twice. She struggled as a student in 3rd grade because she had to wear an eye patch at times and kids made fun of her. To this day she talks about how Mrs. Hurst told her if it helped she would wear an eye patch too. Not something that a child will ever forget. All 3 of my girls were lucky enough to have this amazing woman!
