I had a daughter with a learning disability in Mrs. Banks class. She hated school and would cry and throw up daily before school. Mrs. Banks changed her world and made her feel like she was a star regardless of her abilities. It was a daily struggle for me, as well as Mrs. Banks, to change her mind about learning and I’m not sure that it would have happened with out her positivity, kindness, and her commitment to the kids and teaching. She truly never lost her drive and passion to teach kids after doing so for years. Every child and parent loved her and I personally can’t thank her enough for changing my child’s world.
