That Utah PTA support collaborative efforts between the home, school, private physicians, and community resource agencies to create mental health support networks for families, to recognize the prevalence and need for recognition of mental health illnesses and associated diagnosis and treatment, and to increase the number of psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and mental health professionals to provide adequate services for those needing help;

That Utah PTA advocate for funding and legislation for integrated home and classroom intervention programs; continued research and clinical trials of treatment medications to support children and youth; and support insurance parity for mental illness;

And this resolution shows that we support refugees coming to Utah to make a home. This bill also supports local governments and communities in supporting refugees as they resettle their lives, including providing them with education.
