Utah PTA is excited to work with the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program (BTS) to get the word out about the resources and ideas available for our Utah educators, PTAs, and families.
The mission of the BTS Arts Program is to provide every Utah elementary school student with high-quality learning and arts integration experiences. BTS Arts is funded by the state legislature and Art Works for Kids (AWFK), and supported by seven Universities and Colleges that advise the program and provide professional development for arts educators. This program is implemented and monitored by USBE in close collaboration with schools around the state. BTS Arts provides an arts teacher trained in one of four arts disciplines (dance, drama, music, or visual art).
