On October 7, 2021, Utah PTA members gathered for the Utah PTA Advocacy Conference. The theme of the meeting was "The Power of Positive Engagement". Members heard from Sarah Young, USBE Director of Strategic Initiatives, on "Portrait of a Graduate". Other presentations included topics on resiliency, safe schools, public education funding, early childhood education, Covid Updates, and student wellness initiatives. During the business meeting, Utah PTA members approved the 2021 Legislative Priorities, a bylaw, and a resolution voicing support for certified public librarians.
