Public Policy Program
The Utah PTA Public Policy Program is the primary authority for public policy action and statements by Utah PTA on state and local legislation and administrative policies and regulations.  The current Legislative Priorities have been adopted by the Utah PTA Board of Directors and are based on resolutions.  Utah PTA resolutions are formal statements that have been approved by the Utah PTA Convention delegates and are the official policies of the organization.  The Legislative Directives are based upon the actions called for in our current resolutions.

A resolution is a call for action. It is a statement that may give direction for that action. A resolution may also memorialize, commemorate, or express appreciation. Local PTAs, councils, region and Utah PTA commissions and committees may submit resolutions for consideration to the Utah PTA resolutions committee.
Bill Sheets

The Utah PTA bill sheets are a listing of bills that Utah PTA follows. The sheets also include the position we have taken on each bill. During the session, the bill sheets are updated weekly. When the session is over in March, a final report is posted.
