PTA is one of the nation’s oldest and most successful advocacy organizations and has advocated for children since 1897 nationally and since 1925 in Utah. PTA has always been at the forefront in supporting laws that benefit children. PTA members advocate for children in the local school, in the school district, before school boards, in city and county commissions, in the state legislature and many other places.
